Rules + Agreement

Rules are only to make the site great. So, if you follow the rules, the site should run great!

Please read the rules, then post your characters name stating you have read them.

Something like:
Professor McGonagall has read and agrees to the rules of Mystified Hogwarts.
^^Or something like that^^

1)Do NOT be a Mary Sue or a Gary Sue. They are extremely annoying and in the real world, no people are actually like that. Remember, we want this site to be a realistic as possible!

2)Do NOT Godmode.
Example of Godmoding:
Alex walked up to Fred and punched him in the nose, watching him shrink to the ground.
So, what was wrong above^^?
It should be:
Alex walked up to Fred and attempted to punch him in the nose.

3) Absolutely NO one-lining! I honestly can not stress this enough! It really makes the site look sloppy and poor. Please try to make you posts at least 5 sentences. If you have posts shorter than 3 sentences, you will be warned, then possibly banned for the due amount of days we see fit.

4) USE the spell check! It's there for a reason, and I guarantee it doesn't bite, and it only take a maximum of about 2 minutes.

3)ALWAYS use past tense when your Role Playing!
Bad Example: I walk into the common room and sit down on the couch.
What is wrong above^^?
a)Never refer to you character as 'I', always use their name.
b)It's not past tense.
Correct: (Character name) walked into the common room and sat down on the couch.

4)When talking OOC, please use [], {}, (), unless your in the OOC zone. Please Don't Use *Stars*

5)You are allowed one owl, and then one other pet per character. Please make the other cat something....er....semi-Normal. Maybe like a Cat, Dog, Toad...you know, something they would actually allow into Hogwarts.

6)Smoking and Drink, yeah that's all fine. Just do it someplace where you're sure not to get caught. Like in the Room of Requirement or the Forbidden Forest. Stuff like that makes things interesting, right?

7)You may have as many characters as you wish, but you MUST keep them all active. Especially if some of them are canon!

8) Swearing is aloud, just try to keep it a minimum.

9) And finally, the most important rule of all! Have Fun!
